Customer Service Advisor
Jonathan has been in the automotive field for 9 years, starting as a technician, and then transitioned to Customer Service Advisor a couple of years ago. He has successfully passed his C1 Service Consultant: Automobile Service Consultant Certification. The Certification is from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. Being a vehicle enthusiast and tinkering with vehicles has been something he has enjoyed since he was a young boy. Jonathan’s past experience in hospitality and current knowledge in the automotive field ensures a pleasant and smooth experience for Advanced Transmission customers. His warm smile and love for life is a comfort to customers in an otherwise complex, no fun experience with transmission repair. In his spare time, he enjoys the company of family and friends and shooting sports. Jonathan is happily married and recently had his first son, vowing to take advantage of every opportunity to become a better father and husband.
Laura is co-owner and manager of Advanced Transmission, overseeing the daily activities from the business aspect of the office. Being a woman holding a leadership role in a predominantly man's field has been especially challenging. She has overcome this with flare and has held prominent positions as a board of director (elected 2 consecutive terms) with the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association (ATRA) serving the transmission rebuilding industry internationally. Laura currently serves (ATRA) as the president of the Gulf States Chapter, along with founding Transmission Keepers. Her diversified experience also includes being a State of Alabama licensed Notary Public and Realtor. She never lets an opportunity to learn more about the industry and business in general pass her by and is constantly taking advantage of management seminars and other classes designed specifically for the transmission industry. "My main goal is to strive to help change the negative image of the automotive repairing industry." In Laura's spare time, she enjoys time with her grandchildren.
